Our mission and vision
Every year 200.000 children with clubfoot are born worldwide. Up to 80% of them don’t have access to medical treatment at all. Those who do have access to medical treatment face another problem: method and quality of treatment differs greatly. This lack of access to proper treatment leaves the majority of children born with clubfoot disabled.

Mission
Our mission to offer all children born with clubfoot high quality treatment consists of two key elements. First, by training medical professionals, initiate treatment guidelines and set up local expertise centers where we make high quality clubfoot treatment available. Second, we collaborate with our member organisations to reach out to our target audience to offer them information and support and guide them to the expertise centers.

At Clubfoot World, we envision a world where every child born with clubfoot receives the best possible care. We believe optimal treatment outcomes can only be achieved under optimal conditions and that is why we are committed to implement programs for clubfoot care in every nation of the world.
We believe change is best achieved by cooperation and education. By bringing together all those whose lives are affected by clubfoot with all those professionally involved in clubfoot we can work together to develop and implement programs for clubfoot care. Education, ranging from information about clubfoot to training healthcare professionals empowers all those involved to deliver optimal care.
